Three Four clock utility modules for Eurorack 1u tiles.
Clock Generator: Generates 24 PPQN or 4 PPQN clocks. Clock rate can be CV controlled. Has Start/Stop and tap-tempo.
Clock Divider: Divides clock down by odd or even multiples (selectable). Middle jack can be configured as a CV input or Reset.
Clock Multiplier: Creates higher rate clock signal based on input clock. Middle jack can be configured as CV input or Ratchet gate.
NEW!MIDI Clock: Converts MIDI clock to 24 PPQN clock and Start/Stop.
All tiles have standard tile power connectors to work with any tile power supplies or adapters.
Power consumption: -12V: 0ma +12V: 20ma

- 24 (Sync24 / DIN Sync) or 4 PPQN clock outputs. 5ms pulse width.
- 10 to 260 BPM @ 24PPQN.
- +5V clock/gate/tap/START/CV in and outs.
- Start gate input to externally control clock generation. START jack is normalled to run clock generator if no jack is inserted.
- Tap tempo through CV input jack. 5V positive trigger. Can be permanently configured for tap-tempo or on the fly by holding button (5V into CV jack) for two seconds. When using tap-tempo the knob adjusts the rate.
- Can be configured to send a RESET to external sequencers.
- Configured through jumpers and software (restored upon startup.)

- 24 (Sync24 / DIN Sync) clock inputs and outputs. 5ms pulse width. Works with any type of clock, but calculations done assuming a 24 PPQN clock.
- Configurable for odd and even clock outs, just even clocks, or purely mathematical divisions.
- RESET input to restart clocks with external sequencer.
- Division ratio can be CV controlled. 0-5V range.
- Configured through jumpers and software (restored upon startup.)
Clock Multiplier
- Multiplies incoming clock or trigger up to 24x.
- 5ms pulse width on output.
- Maximum around 300 BPM @ 24PPQN (limited by 5ms clock pulse.)
- Ratchet gate input. Activates multiplier on a 5v positive gate, otherwise clock output mirrors input. Normalled on when no cable inserted.
- +5V clock and gate in and outs.
Midi Clock
- 24 PPQN (Sync24 / DIN Sync) clock out. 5ms pulse width.
- START/STOP gate out responds to MIDI START, STOP, and CONTINUE.
- Clock out always sends a clock as long as the MIDI input is receiving a clock.
- +5v clock and gate outs.
- LED shows MIDI activity.
Configuration
Options can be set by jumpers on the back of the module, and programmed to the EEPROM upon startup.
The Clock Divider and Clock Generator have configurable options. The Clock Multiplier and MIDI Clock have no options.
There are two sets of jumpers with two positions: up (labelled “SEP. POT”) and down. Both jumpers need to be installed and set to the same position. The upper position separates the middle jack from the knob, disabling CV control of the knob position. The middle jack can now be used to CV control another feature, or act as a gate, clock, or trigger output or input, depending on the module.
The modules can be programmed upon startup by placing a patch cable between the first and third jack, setting the knob at a certain position, optionally putting a gate signal into the second jack, then powering the module. Upon startup the module checks if the input is connected to the output (by sending a random checksum so the module won’t get reprogrammed by accident), sets the configuration according to the knob position and middle jack signal, then writes the new config to EEPROM. The module will flash the LED for a second to signal the module has been configured.
Clock Generator Configuration:
The Clock Generator has two different configurations.
- Center jack function
- RESET out (every 96 clocks)/Tap-Tempo input
or - CV control of Tempo knob.
- RESET out (every 96 clocks)/Tap-Tempo input
- PPQN (Pulses Per Quarter Note)
- 24 PPQN
or - 4 PPQN
- 24 PPQN
Configuration Procedure:
- Turn off module
- Patch from input to output (first jack to third jack) to set PPQN.
- Patch 5V to middle jack to set Tap Tempo mode. Leave empty for RESET mode.
-The two back jumpers need to be in upper position (SEP. POT) for this mode. - Turn pot to desired programming position (left, center, right).
-Full left: 4 PPQN
-Center: nothing (to change just center-pot function.)
-Full right: 24 PPQN - Turn power on.
-Module LED will flash for 1 second to show it’s been programmed. - Remove patch cable.
-Module should function as desired, but may need to be power-cycled again (without patch cable).
Clock Divider Configuration:
The Clock Divider has two configurations.
- Center jack function
- RESET gate/trigger in
or - CV control of Divide knob.
- RESET gate/trigger in
- Division type
- Odd and even divisions
or - Just even divisions
or - Mathematical division ratio (divide by two down to 128.)
- Odd and even divisions
Configuration Procedure:
- Turn off module
- Patch from input to output (first jack to third jack).
- Turn pot to desired position (left, center, right).
-Full left for odd and even timings,
-Center for mathematical timings,
-Full right for only even timings. - Turn power on.
-Module LED will flash for 1 second to show it’s been programmed. - Remove patch cable.
-Module should function as desired, but may need to be power-cycled again (without patch cable).
